Cool Science Radio - July 20, 2017

John and Lynn’s  first guest is Charles Bacon who is the Enabling Technology Systems Engineer for NASA’s Satellite Servicing Projects Division. The ability to robotically service satellites offers many advantages over current astronaut involved missions. Many of the technologies being developed for this autonomous ability will also be used in future Mars missions. The 2nd guest is Mario Livio who has written WHY: What Makes Us Curious. The ability to ask “why” is uniquely human, and yet there is still no definitive scientific consensus about why that is.
