Local News Hour - January 11, 2019

Park City School District Director of Technology and Assessment, Drew Fink,  talks about last year’s state SAGE testing results and the new testing contract Utah has in store beginning this year. Kelly Gallow from the Summit County Health Department says Radon Gas can be found in 1 of 3 Utah homes and it is responsible for the most lung cancer deaths for non-smokers in the state. January is Radon Gas Awareness month and every household should be tested. Cheryl Fox, Executive Director for the Summit Land Conservancy talks about the Nordic ski event at the Osguthorpe Farm on Saturday. Mountain Trails has groomed a three to four kilometer loop on the farm property and the family and Summit Land are inviting everyone to come out and ski the area on Old Ranch Road. The Park City High School Dance Class is performing a program that was developed entirely by students, called Informance.  Seniors, April Buys and Juliana Klug explain how they wrote, choreographed, produced and marketed this dance performance scheduled for Tuesday January 15th.
