The End Utah Homelessness organization needs volunteers for the annual statewide count of people experiencing homelessness.

The point-in-time count helps gather data on people and families living without shelter in Utah and aids policy makers in setting goals to reduce homelessness and develop services to meet local needs.

Volunteers can help with the surveying effort by identifying and interviewing people who are unsheltered as of Jan. 29.

Volunteer teams will be assigned specific areas for outreach each morning of the three-day count, beginning Jan. 30.
