Snowbird was the final Utah ski area to close for the 2024-2025 winter season.

The Little Cottonwood Canyon resort was the only ski area to make it to Memorial Day weekend.

Most of Utah’s 15 public ski areas, including Park City, Deer Valley and Woodward, stopped lifts in April.

Solitude and Brighton were open until May 18.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports despite being the last to close, Snowbird cannot boast the longest season. That honor goes to Solitude. It opened Utah’s ski season Nov. 7, running lifts for 183 days.

Snowbird opened Nov. 28 and tallied 170 days.

Summer operations at Park City Mountain are underway at the Canyons Village Golf course. Activities at the Mountain Village Park open June 7. Bike haul and scenic lift rides at Deer Valley begin June 20.
