UDOT closes part of I-80 in Parleys Canyon for repairs after crash

The road work on I-80's bridges will be mostly at night, but Marsac Avenue resurfacing will be during the day, Monday through Friday, starting around July 10.

The road work on I-80's bridges will be mostly at night, but Marsac Avenue resurfacing will be during the day, Monday through Friday, starting around July 10.

The Utah Department of Transportation advised drivers to expect delays Thursday morning.

UDOT will close one lane on Interstate 80 westbound in Parleys Canyon Thursday morning to repair the road.

The mile-long closure near East Canyon at mile post 134 is expected from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Traffic officials say the repairs are needed after a crash Sunday damaged the road.
