The Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that an elderly man who went missing from Midway was found a day later on the other side of the Wasatch. Rick Brough has more.
The Sheriff’s Dispatch received a report Wednesday afternoon that 92-year-old Robert Leeland Morgan, who reportedly suffers from dementia, had left the area at about 1 p.m. He was driving a white Ford Explorer.
A Utah Silver Alert was activated. Later that afternoon, the 911 Center got a report that he may have been seen in the Cottonwood Heights area in the Salt Lake Valley.
The Wasatch Sheriff reports that Thursday morning, at about 7, Morgan was found in the Alta and Snowbird area. He was involved in a minor traffic accident, but was fortunately uninjured. Morgan has been reunited with his family.
