The Entrepreneur’s Paradox

If you Google “number of small businesses that fail” your results will be all over the map. Some articles say 75%, other blog posts say 80%, some sites even gloat that 90% of startup businesses fail within the first year. Whatever the true statistic is for startup business failure, it’s a numbing figure that isn’t a real confidence booster for the startup entrepreneur.

Curtis Morley, 5x serial entrepreneur, executive coach, and author of The Entrepreneur’s Paradox:How to overcome the 16 pitfalls along the startup journey—believes that businesses don’t fail; entrepreneurs quit! Curtis Morley an Inc. 500/5000 Hall of Fame recipient and has been recognized as Utah Valley's Entrepreneur of the Year for five consecutive years. He is the founder and CEO of The Entrepreneur’s Paradox and is the Director of the Kahlert Initiative on Technology at the University of Utah.
