Summer Sundays On Historic Main Street Will Be Closed To Vehicles

Park City Municipal

In a special session Thursday night, the Park City Council voted to close Main Street to vehicle traffic on Sundays beginning June 14. The event is called the Park City Dine and Stroll. The street will close at 11 A.M. on both south and north ends and will remain closed until 10 P.M. Officials and business owners hope that closing the street to vehicle traffic will allow more people to visit Main Street while maintaining safe social distances. The council left open the possibility that additional days could be added to the schedule if warranted by the impacts to main street commerce or if desired by merchants.
