Las Hermanas Lu'um join Cada Domingo. Las Hermanas Lu'um are founders of an indigenous women's collective in Chiapas, Mexico. We discuss their experiences living and growing up in an indigenous community, and how they came to learn their antique weaving and embroidering techniques for their clothing articles. The sisters will be presenting at the Natural History Museum of Utah's !Celebracion! event on November 10th, for their Maya exhibit opening.

Hablamos de sus experiencias viviendo en Chiapas, creciendo en una comunidad indigena, y de como usan las antiguas tecnicas para tejer y bordear sus prendas. Ellas estaran en el Museo de Historia Natural de Utah durante el evento "Celebracion", en donde demonstraran sus técnicas, las herramientas, y los materiales que usan.
