Astrophysicyst Dr. Michelle Thaller Talks Hubble's 30th Birthday

Dr. Michelle Thaller joins Lynn and John on Cool Science Radio. She is an Astrophysicist and research scientist at Goddard Space Flight Center. April 24th marked the 30th birthday of the Hubble Space Telescope. Thanks to Hubble, we now know how old our universe is. It has changed our views of the planets in our own solar system, discovering new objects such as planetary moons and icy objects beyond Pluto. Hubble has shown us the birth of stars and even the creation of black holes. As it turns 30, Hubble continues to push the boundaries of exploration.
