Dr. Christy Kane on her upcoming mental health discussions in partnership with Summit County Health and local schools

Dr. Christy Kane, who specializes in youth mental health, joins the show to talk about several upcoming talks in the Park City area.

Dr. Christy Kane will present a series of talks for parents and teens highlighting the social and mental health impacts of "living in the digital world" on developing brains. She will touch on issues related to cyber bullying, social media, and tips for healthy use of digital devices and building resiliency in this post-Covid digital age. Dr. Kane's presentations will take place:

  • Tuesday, Sept 13 at Ecker Hill Middle School, 2465 Kilby Rd (5:30 pm)
  • Wednesday, Sept 21 at North Summit High School, 111 E. 100 South, Coalville (7:00 pm)
  • Wednesday, Oct. 5 at South Summit High School, 45 S 300 East, Kamas (Time TBD)
  • Monday, Oct. 24 at Park City High School, 1750 Kearns Blvd. (6:30 pm)

These events are free and open to the public, and are hosted by the Summit County Health Department Prevention Team and local school districts.
