David is born and raised in Park City, Utah, and a great enthusiast of the wide variety of topics that The Mountain Life covers: health, fitness and nutrition to parenting, lifestyle and education. Wintzer truly lives the mountain lifestyle. When he is not hosting the show, David is a general contractor building custom and spec homes in the luxurious town of Park City.

There are 162 peaks with public access, and 17 privately restricted. It consisted of mostly of big weekend adventures, a lot of alpine starts, and many late evenings. Her impetus: to simply explore her backyard by foot and tackle the world class terrain in a more meaningful way.
