SLC Airport adds airline with non-stop service to Canada

Utahns will get a new direct flight to Canada as Salt Lake City International Airport welcomes the 15th airliner to operate out of SLC.

Canadian carrier WestJet will offer nonstop flights to Edmonton five days a week starting this summer.

It takes off May 15 as Salt Lake’s only non-stop flight to Alberta’s capital city. The seasonal service ends Oct. 24.
