Jorge Rojas is no stranger to creating spaces inviting all members of the community to art spaces. With his residency at the Kimball Art Center, he has the chance to create such a space as well as helping develop the residency program in collaboration with the Kimball staff. With an emphasis on indigenous rituals, cultural relevancy and a deep respect for these roots, Rojas begins his residency on Wednesday June 23rd at the Kimball Art Center with a free event open to the public with the aim to create a space for all memembers of the community to participate, and to contribute to the exhibit. The event is free and open to the public, food and light refreshments provided.

Con su residencia en el Kimball Art Center, el tiene la oportunidad de crear un espacio así al igual de ayudar el programa de residencia en colaboración de los empleados del Kimball.
