Teens ages 13 to 18 are welcome to join Park City Library’s Teen Group from 5-7 on Wednesdays Feb. 7 through June 26! A library staff hosts this relaxed setting for teens to chat, learn from guest speakers, eat pizza, talk about books, do activities, and catch up on schoolwork. Basin Recreation is proud to announce that Run-A-Muk off leash dog area is now open! A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped clean-up Run-A-Muk during the closure, who collected a whopping 365 pounds of poop! Friendly reminder to pick-up after your dog; bags and trash cans are available at the trailhead for your convenience! Basin Recreation is holding 2 day, adult beginner and intermediate mountain bike clinics. Taught by certified instructors, riders will learn how to better navigate switch backs, descending, obstacles, and basic bike maintenance. Snow is vital to life on earth. This hands-on science exhibition is about the nature and wonder of snow and the impact of climate change on our planet. The interactive and exhibition follows snow’s journey from tiny crystals to winter landscapes to spring snowmelt.
