The Developer of the three parking lots at the base of Park City Mountain will be hosting three public open houses this month.
The first open house will be held on Monday, March 9th, 5:30- 7:30pm at the Hyatt Place near the entrance to the Canyons Village on Highway 224. The parking lot developer, PEG Companies, will review their development plans and receive community input.
PEG submitted its application to Park City Muncipal last month for the redevelopment of the surface parking lots. The proposed plans for the 10-acre redevelopment include for-sale condominiums, affordable and employee housing, day-skier parking garages, a hotel, retail and restaurant offerings, public ski lockers for day and seasonal use and a location for the National Ability Center’s new facility.
The PEG team, including architects, contractors and traffic engineers, will be on hand to answer questions on all project components.
The developer is asking attendees to RSVP to baseareaproject@gmail.com.
Robert Schmidt, Chief Development Officer of PEG says the open houses will provide a valuable opportunity for his team - where they can dive deeper with the community on the proposal and get valuable public input.
