Rob Winder
KPCW ReporterRob Winder covers Wasatch County for the KPCW team which he joined in May 2023. He earned a master’s degree in mass communication from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University in 2023. Prior to returning to school, Winder worked for over a decade as a data entry clerk for the United States Postal Service (a job that allowed him to listen to NPR podcasts all day long).
As he proudly tells anyone who will listen, his career path has now touched two professions – postal delivery and journalism – both singled out by the U.S. Constitution as vital to the well-being of the republic.
Winder is a native of Salt Lake City. He enjoys hiking, running, reading (both Marvel comics and actual books) and aimlessly driving on country roads.
