Cool Science Radio is joined by Rick Smith, the CEO/founder of Taser (now Axom Technologies), a pioneer of technology with the vision of making the bullet obsolete. Smith also happens to have a riveting personal story, having lost two friends to gun violence-- shot and killed. He resolved to find better options through technology and tackle this thorny subject in his new book, The End of Killing: How our Newest Technologies can Solve Humanity’s Oldest Problem. Smith argues that that technology will make killing a thing of the past.
