Electric Mountain Bikes Or Not On Park City Trails?

Heinrich Deters of Park City Municipal and Charlie Sturgis of Mountain Trails Foundation join the show to introduce a new randomized City survey on electric mountain bikes and distinguish that survey from the Mountain Trails survey from late last year. Should electric mountain bikes (E-MTB's) be allowed beyond the streets of Park City and onto the non-motorized single track? After all, an E-MTB has a motor. But many would say that E-MTB's are here - here to stay, and Park City just has to deal with it. They help those aging or mobility challenged recreationists already  (they are allowed on the trails for those groups), but what about those who simply can’t otherwise make it up the trail with the forward momentum they want?

Nevertheless, a scenic run with friends is were he finds inner peace.
