PC/SC Arts Council members (L to R): Kendall Kelley, Emma Brake, Jocelyn Scudder, and Andrea Zavala

Jocelyn Scudder, Executive director of the Park City and Summit County Arts Council, along with colleagues Kendall Kelley (marketing and community engagement manager), Emma Brake (events and accessibility manager) and Andrea Zavala (Latino Arts Festival director) explore the state of arts and culture in Summit County, the evolution of the Arts Council’s long-range planning, and the vital role of public art, cultural spaces and creative programming in building a connected community.

They highlight the growth and excitement surrounding the upcoming Latino Arts Festival, happening June 13–15, and discuss future opportunities to support local artists and strengthen Park City’s creative economy year-round.

The group also reflects on the departure of the Sundance Film Festival and how Park City can continue fostering a vibrant cultural identity moving forward.
