Utah Politics Now - April 24, 2019 Segment 1

Utah Politics Now returned to the airwaves with a post 2019 legislative session recap. State Senator Ron Winterton (R-Dist. 26), Rep. Tim Quinn (R-Dist. 54)  and Rep. Brian King (D-Dist. 28) join KPCW’s Leslie Thatcher and Emily Means in a wide-ranging, roundtable discussion on tax reform, education, affordable housing and ballot initiatives.

Emily Means hadn’t intended to be a journalist, but after two years of studying chemistry at the University of Utah, she found her fit in the school’s communication program. Diving headfirst into student media opportunities, Means worked as a host, producer and programming director for K-UTE Radio as well as a news writer and copy editor at The Daily Utah Chronicle.
