Fire crews respond to Home Depot early Monday morning

Several Park City Fire District crews responded to an early morning fire at Park City’s Home Depot.

According to Fire District Spokeswoman Michelle Anderson, the call came into dispatch this morning about 4:30.

“When they arrived,” Anderson said, “there were reports of flames coming from the rear of the building. The crews were able to get in and respond and find that the fire was in the holding facility, and they were quickly able to suppress the fire and contain it to just the holding facility.”

The holding facility is the loading dock where all of the supplies come into the store. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. There were no injuries reported.
