Today Mountain Money hosts Roger Goldman and Alison Kuhlow, speak with (11:09) Andy Carroll, Chief Business Officer for Real Salt Lake.  Andy spenttime with the hosts speaking about the MLS is Back Tournament in Orlando and hosting Real Monarch games at Rio Tinto Stadium this summer.

(25:00) Jen Schumacher, President of the Park City Gallery Association joined Mountain Money to talk about how Park City’s galleries are fairing this summer and what visitors can look forward to at this summer’s gallery strolls.

  A 2020 Park City High School graduate is presenting her digital painting in an exhibit at the Springville Art Museum. 


The museum received more than 300 submissions from Utah students ranging from kindergartners to seniors in high school.

The project was inspired by the isolation and uncertainty many are experiencing because of COVID-19.

We introduced Laila Villanueva, the new Executive Director with AMU, the organization's mission and we will discuss the programs and services that this organization offers such as the podcast "Nuevas Voces" podcast, the art exhibitions, the Sor Juana Prize for prose and poems in Spanish, and much more!

Nopalera Artist Collective

We discussed the exhibit at the Urban Arts Gallery at the Gateway Mall in Salt Lake city. The Nopalera Artist Collective includes Latinx and Immigrant artists with a focus on activism for causes of social interest for the Latino community

The exhibit is now open, closing event will take place on July 27th from  5pm to 8pm, open to the public

Maximo Ventura, Latino Affairs Coordinator for the Christian Center of Park City, discusses the 4th Annual Latino Arts Festival in Park City, which is planned for June 14 & 15. It features international artists, live music, artists, and a feature film at the Park City Library auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.

We chatted with the artist about her work which draws inspiration from songs and entire albums, many of which are dedicated to specific albums or the artists themselves. She refers to her work series as albums and individual pieces as songs. We discussed about her inspiration, her experiences as an immigrant female artist and much more.
