News DirectorAshton Edwards jumped at the chance to join the KPCW team in 2022. She has been telling stories for a living for about a decade with stints in Oklahoma City, Salt Lake City, St. Louis and now Park City.
Along this journey Ashton has picked up some hardware including national and regional Emmy awards and Association of Broadcasters awards.
In her free time she and her husband, KUTV meteorologist Chase Thomason, enjoy hiking with their French Bulldog, Francis. Ashton tries to read a book a week and the couple travels any time they can get away.
