Two new Park City Council members and one returning member were sworn in on Monday evening, bringing a new look to the council sitting behind the dais at the City Council chambers of the Marsac Building. Lynn Ware Peek has more.

Host Lynn Ware Peek takes a break from exploring science to talk politics with five of the six Park City Council candidates. After collecting questions from listeners over the last week, and throwing in many of her own, the candidates answered questions on traffic and parking, snow levels, the local economy and, of course, dogs. Candidates also had the opportunity to ask each other the hard questions.

  On today's program, Tom Kelly with USSA says the World Cup alpine ski season kicks off later this month. Park City Council Candidate Becca Gerber is in for a final interview before the election. Summit County Environmental Health Scientist Rebecka Hullinger has the results of the radon testing in schools and Ryan Walsh and Trace Worthington have information about this year's Jan's Winter Welcome.

The six candidates vying for office in Park City's council races drew a crowd of about 100 for the  Park City Board of Realtors candidate forum.  It was no surprise that the topics included traffic, affordable housing, and how to deal with the ski resorts, in particular Vail.  KPCW's Rick Brough has more. 

Public opinion is heating up over the proposed zoning for the Bonanza Park Area, and residents are throwing their thoughts to City Council about how the area should be redeveloped to best benefit the community as a whole. Lynn Ware Peek, has more.
