This year’s Running with Ed goes down as one of the best-ever for fundraising with more than two-thirds of the money going right back into local classrooms.

The 15th annual Running with Ed gets underway Saturday morning at the Basin Recreation Fieldhouse. As many as 200 teams will be running the marathon-length course to raise money for the Park City Education Foundation.

The Park City Child Care Scholarship program launched Jan. 1 and it is still taking applications.

Lawmakers put $42.5 million into the program, enough to cover about 5,000 students. Applications will open on Feb. 28, 2023.
